LDC Inc. performed permitting, civil engineering, surveying, staking, and on-call construction services for the new Arena Sports Facility in Mill Creek. The Arena Sports facility is a 98,000 square feet multi-use entertainment complex that includes indoor soccer fields, bowling lanes, laser tag rooms, arcade games, an indoor inflatable playground, bumper cars, rock-climbing, and a ropes course. Due to the size of the project, the LDC Inc. team worked extensively with the city to mitigate concerns and ensure that the project could be seamlessly incorporated into the surrounding community framework with minimal disruptions to nearby residents.

Going Above the Standard

LDC Inc. provided near immediate responses to requests for staking, spot elevation/location determinations, and other requests for surveying services and adhered to extremely tight schedules in order to ensure that the General Contractor and the project remained on schedule. When asked to stake an onsite building with an incomplete architectural design, LDC Inc. assisted in determining (from structural and architectural drawings) the design intent for a complicated portion of the structure design. LDC Inc.’s survey and engineering departments coordinated and led the effort to better define the details.
